UKS Challenges - October week 3 and 4

Week 3 challenge - to follow the sketch, do a double page LO, scrap baking and include numbers.
I have scrapped photos of my birthday cupcakes I baked to take into work - they included Vanilla, Jaffa Cake, Red Velvet, Blueberry, Chocolate Orange and Lemon.
I have used MCS kit - September Ltd Ed featuring these gorgeous Prima papers, alphabet and embellishments.

Week 4 was to scrap a Birthday theme, 2 or more photos and use brads/eyelets or buttons on your page.
These pages are for the Boys Birthday albums - is funny how you forget that is nice to go back to some old embellishments like eyelets - I was quiet pleased how they looked!  Both these pages are 8.5x11 and ready to go in to their Birthday books!

I have used the lovely MCS Sept Ltd ed kit featuring Prima Romance collection of papers.  I've added some AC Thickers and some bling.
Thanks for taking the time to look.

Crafting in Durdle Door - Part Two

A few more LO's from my weekend away with the girls.  Here are some photos of Sam with his favourite toys; Buzz, Woody and Jessie from Toy Story!  The Simple Stories papers work perfectly with these photos!

One morning as I went into Sam's room to wake him up, I found these two watching over him!!! How sweet for him to place them on the side to watch over him.....or did they get their by themselves?? ;-)

UKS October challenges

It was only as I was taking photos of some layouts I had completed I sudden realised I had not uploaded some earlier challenges for the beginning of the month!

So here we are  - October week 1, use a Beatles title or lyrics, journaling, black and white and circles.     I have used Prima romance novel papers, the title 'Leave my kitten alone' is a title of Beatles song, but obviously not one of their biggest hits!

October week 2 was using lyrics from a traditional folk song/nursery rhyme, 'Rain, rain go away!', 3 photos, hand made embellishment (ribbon rose), and photos of a city.  I have used photos of when the Olympic torch came to the city of Chichester, it rained all morning but when the torch came to us it stopped and the minute the torch was handed over the rain started again!!!
I've used minimal stash on this, just some white CS, ribbon and a Prima lace/pearl embellishment.
October Monthly challenge.
Using the sketch above, I have used Simple Stories papers and these are photos of Sam taken back in May when we went to Marwell Zoo.

Today sees the release of the latest mini kit from CCW, featuring the lovely Teresa Collins Tell Your Story collection, they are gorgeous papers and I am gutted I did get the chance to play with them! Please pop over to the CCW challenge blog and take a look at what fabulous work the DT came up with this month!

Sorry I've not blogged much recently but I have lots of posts in the pipeline so come back and check my blog out again soon, especially as starting on November 1st is CCW countdown to Christmas!

thanks for stopping and taking the time to look - I love to read your comments!

CCW October Scrapmap

Hello and welcome to this months scrap-map designed by Sue for CCW.
I have used the lovely Simple Stories papers as the colours worked perfectly with this photos of Sam with Buzz and Woody.  Sam is Autistic so struggles to play using his imagination.  These photos were taken while he was watching Toy Story 3 and he started to copy the film with his Buzz and Woody - it was a perfect moment to be captured!
My page just wouldn't be complete with out a little bit of bling!
I just love the clothes on the washing line to add a bit of bunting to my page!
Don't forget to pop over to the CCW blog and give the scrap-map a go and be in with a chance of a guest DT spot and discount in the shop!
