UKS WC - May week 3 - Two For Joy

This weeks weekly challenge on UKS was to Scrap in Black and White with a hint of yellow, scrap two photos, use something old and new and use something from the Magpie rhyme
Mainly white used on this LO - with a bit of black and a smidgen of yellow (pearl bling in the centre of two flowers!).  I have scrapped two photos of me with my boys - taken I think in 2009 - will need to check!.  The new is the lace doily and the chipboard corner flourish.  The old is the endless supply of Prima flowers - some that have been in my stash a while, the Martha Stewart butterfly punch is also an old punch, and I dusted off my Cricut and cut a title - which is from the Magpie rhyme - and I choose two for joy as my boys are my joy (well most of the time!).
There are a combination of Prima flowers, woodware flowers and some punched out using my EK success punch.
This LO was a scrap lift from a page I found on Pinterest - so I am not sure where the original came from.
I also used my Martha Stewart leaf punch and the chipboard has been painted and heat embossed with a clear powder as I was getting fed up of waiting for it to dry!!!
The Cricut cartridge used was Calligraphy Collection

UKS WC and MCS - Nov Kit

I have used MCS kit for the 2 LO's below - and I need to get scrapping as I have 2 kits sitting on the side unopened!!! - This is the last of my Nov kit - featuring Glitz papers.
A photo of my gorgeous nephew Caleb - I have followed UKS May wk 1 challenge (Using cord/twine/ribbon, using bling, using green and white and using a stamp.)
Plenty of bling on the page and pearls!  Prima flowers and Prima resin bench.
The 'Postcard' stamp in a Stampin Up stamp.
This LO is of my gorgeous Sam - taken in 2003 when he got his new glasses - he looks so little!
UKS May wk 2 challenge (Before and after, fussy cutting, something hidden and use a frame)
I didn't do the before and after photos, the roses have been cut out - the frame is acetate on more fussy cutting paper, and if you look very carefully the journalling is hidden under the lace.

Day 20 - the last of the Xmas cupcakes baked!
Day 22 - Christmas Photo time!
Day 23 - Xmas party time!

CCW May Kit

I was so please when I received the May CCW kit - Fancy Pants Wave Searcher.  I have so many beach photos from the IOW just waiting to be scrapped.....and I go and scrapbook some photos taken at the Witterings from 2007 - just look how young my boys look!
I try and add minimal stash to Lou's kits - so you can see what I have made with just the kit.  This page required a bit of cutting- and all I've added to the page was some spray paint/mist - everything else is included in the kit.
I outlined the letters with a fine black pen to make them 'pop' off the page better.
This page (another one of Jack) I have used my new Lucky 8 punch, these are available at CCW.  They are fab, I have used the Retro Scallop and then threaded the ribbon through the holes.
I have used a window punch to punch out the words 'sunkissed' and 'surf'
I also added a flower made using my Big Shot and flower die - using the cardstock and the flocked transparency that is included in the kit, finished it off with a button for the centre, also in the kit.
With the LO below (of Sam) I have added a few stamped splashes down the left hand side of the page and added some aqua divine twine also available from CCW.
The bunting and beach tag are cut out of the Wave Searcher cards included in the kit.

This page which is also the CCW May Scrapmap I have added some American Craft Thickers for the title, everything else is included in this months kit.
The element stickers finish off this page, along with a few buttons!

Thanks for looking and pop over to CCW as these kits sell out very quickly - better still sign up to receive our kit monthly!
