In 2011 Becky Higgins Project life was avaliable to buy in the UK via Amazon - I quickly jumped on the band wagon and got my PL folder and started to collect 'stuff'.......and there it sat for the next few months - unfortunatly life just got in the way at times and I just didn't get round to starting it! I am not doing a week at a time or a month.......some months have more photos than others. It is just a random collection of photos and journalling. I have used a mixture of Becky Higgins journalling cards and Simple Stories collections. Here are a selection of my pages.
April - Kittens, Royal Wedding and a Birthday!
May - More kittens, cake making and a day at the farm.
June - photos from the Isle of Wight
July - more photos which include School Fair, Goodwood Fireworks and Take That! Also you can see I have added a 8 x 8 page.
More July photos - Festival of Speed, Wedding Anniversary, School Prizegiving ( an additonal 6 x 12 page) and a Birthday!
More July photos - A new niece, a new car and I joined Slimming World
July again - cake, nicely pedicured nails (love them!), and Ladies Day at Goodwood races.
August - Garden, family BBQ and more SW certificates (I scanned them in the PC and reprinted them the correct size)
August - Fontwell Ladies Day and the Isle of Wight
More August - showing the 6 x 12 page and more IOW photos
September - Back to school and another inserted page 6 x 12 - which hold 3 additonal 6 x 4 photos
Sept - with the 6 x 12 flipped over to show a family wedding we went to.
More September - more wedding photos and SW certificates and journalling about my weight loss.
The rest of the album is finished - I just need to add the journalling. So will show you those pages when they are finished and then I will carry on filling the album with 2012 photos!
Thanks for looking and I love reading your comments
UKS May week 4 challenge - Friends (5), cluster of embellies (5), patterned paper as background (5), metal on LO (5) and one of Cal's techniques (10)
Busy Doodlebug papers - but they work so well with this LO, Friends - the journalling reads that Daisies are such friendly flowers (Sam always calls them his friends), cluster of embellies - lots of flowers and bling, metal - the Daisies are metal they are from a necklace I found in Claires Accessories!, and I did the faux buttons as one of Cal's techniques.
UKS June wk 1 challenge - use red/white and blue, scrap 2 or more photos and journal.
2 photos from the Jubilee weekend - papers are from CCW and a Susi B button!!, jounalling around the photo.
June wk 2 challenge - use the colour palette, natural photos and 3 or more photos.
Some photos of the penguins at Marwell, I have used Crate Papers - Katelin Collection
flowers are punched from the paper and added some Kars bling, the butterfly is from the same collection and has been stickled!!
Everyone loves a wedding - and especially when the weather here has been terrible with floods, rain, gale force winds....so when we had a break for just 24 hrs it was perfect for the wedding of my friends Zoe and Mat.
This is the card I made - very simple stamped and embossed butterfly - a few pearls and flowers
Here are the happy couple - Mr and Mrs Williams - who are currently honeymooning in Antigua!
I also made 7 dozen mini vanilla cupcake's for the day
Pale pink with pink pearl sprinkles and a pearl shimmer - bite size, perfect to have with coffee after the meal.
This months UKS Monthly Challenge - Jubilation - perfect jubilation is a wedding!
I have used MCS kit - March ltd ed - featuring MME Be Happy Papers - I have almost exhausted this kit - think I may get one more LO if I am lucky!
I love these kits - the embellishments work so well with the papers - I always love my LO's made with a MCS kit - look here to get them!
This months scrapmap I have used MME Be Amazing papers available from Lou at Creative Craft World. Sue has provided us with a fab sketch and I have used photos of Jack last year when he met the boys for the first time back last April - another LO for the furbabies album!
I have used not only the 12 x 12 papers but the 6 x 6 papers -therefore I had 2 different size hexagons to cut out!
All the embellies and ribbon are left over from on of the CCW mini kits!
Mini alpha is Adorn it and 'Jack' is AC Thickers.
Thanks for looking - and don't forget to pop over to the CCW blog and give the scrapmap a go!
