WOYWW - 28th Sept

A bit late - but right now I just don't have time to sleep - let alone do anything else!

Not much happening on my desk - but I am sorting out my Ally Pally stash - a very last minute trip to the Stamp and Scrapbooking show - but so worth it!! I am loving my new papers from Forever in Time - they are so colourful and strokable! I also got some LOTV stamps and some pearls, ribbons, inks, brads and candi. I had a lovely day with my friend Karen - roll on April until the next one!!

As you can see Dara didn't really want his photo tonight!! This is a real 'sod off with that camera' look!!!
As for Sandi - he started on my pens and then decided.......

to have a rest on my new stash!!!!

Happy WOYWW!! Hopefully normal service will resume soon!

Don't forget to pop back to my blog on 1st October - the launch of October CCW kit which I had the pleasure of getting a month ago and having a play!!

WOYWW - Sept 14th WO

Nothing too exciting on my desk - I have just finished a card to go with some LO's I have completed for the October kit from CCW - so I cannot show you my work yet!
I am having to share my desk tonight with my son Jack - he is doing his English homework, if he doesn't complete two paragraphs, he will get an after school detention. English is not Jack's favourite subject - to be honest it is like pulling teeth!
Here is a little sneek peek of my card I have completed!
As for the furbabies - they are now out and about on their adventures - but 8pm is supper time and they are in for the evening so here is a photo of them eating their supper!
Above is Dara and below is Sandi.
Thanks for taking the time to have a look and don't forget to join us all on Julia's blog for WOYWW!!

My Creative Scrapbook Kit LO's

Thanks to Rachael and her lovely blog, I have been introduced to this lovely kit from My Creative Scrapbook. I had some lovely helpful emails from Pam, who answered all my questions. Soon after I received these beautiful kits. I chose to get the limited edition kit too! I have never had a kit so full of beautiful blossoms and embellishments. I have completed 3 LO's from each kit and I still have oodles of goodies left! I was inspired by Rachael's LO to do this one of my gorgeous boys on the IOW, this is a complete scrap-lift of one of her pages - who says you can't use blossoms and butterflies with boys!!
Another photo from the IOW - this time one of me and Pete (taken by Jack).
and finally a couple of photos of myself and some girlfriends at Ladies Day at Fontwell.
The main kit was perfect for photos of my Birthday boy teenager - with his new iPod touch.
This one is of Pete and Sandi - who is definitely a Daddy's boy and I have followed the Sketch over at My Creative Scrapbook Monthly sketch Challenge.
Another one of my gorgeous teenager - he is certainly going to break some hearts soon!
I cannot wait to receive my next kit from My Creative Scrapbook!!
Thanks for looking

UKS Challenges - September monthly and week 1

I have just returned from a girly crafting weekend away to Durdle Door - the weather was very wet and windy - but this clearly made more time for scrapbook and I completed 24 LO's! This photo below is me and the girls in front of Durdle Door, Dorset on a very breezy beach!
Monthly challenge - to follow a sketch and use some stitching or stamping on the page (I did stitching). I have used the yummy papers and embellishments from MME - I love these papers! The photos are from 2008 of me and my gorgeous boys!
Weekly challenge - to follow the Sketch, use maximum of 2 colours and use an embellishment related to a favourite thing at school. I used flowers as I loved science and I remember one of the first things we did in science was looking at the individual elements in a flower. A lovely photo of Sam and as he was wearing a pink shirt I could use pink on a boy page! Again everything I have used is MME - the out and about collection - these are stunning papers!
Thanks for looking and please pop back and see over the next few days some of my pages I did over the weekend!

UKS Challenges - September Week 3

This weeks Challenge is from my team the BB's - the theme was either beach or an advertising slogan, use the colours turquoise or blue and use 2 photos.

I have used Fancy Pants papers - Beach Bum collection, the 2 photos are from our recent holiday in the Isle of Wight . The slogan "Where do you want to go today" is a slogan used by Microsoft. and I have used a Prima Felt ribbon which has been sprayed turquoise with glimmer mist.
Thanks for taking the time to look!

WOYWW - Sept 7th

Hello fellow WOYWW bloggers! Back to the old routine this week - boys are back at school and I am back to the usual busy routine at work. I have also be crazy enough to say I would do a make and take card at a Macmillan Coffee evening - so tonight I have been busy cutting up lots of cardstock to make a quick and simple card.

Everything is Stampin Up! - using the fabby Circle Circus set
as you can see I had an assistant tonight - Sandi decided to sit right on top of my cardstock and very close to the guillotine!!

as for Dara - after having a very stressful day outside running around he just slept!

Thanks for looking and don't forget to pop over to Julia's blog to check out every ones desk!
