WOYWW - August 31st

It is was so lovely today not to be working - I am still at home with the boys - they both return to school next week. I have been working on a LO, a challenge given to me by my team member for a future UKS Challenge. It required some sewing and lots of colour!

here it is - a photo of my Beach Buddies!
A selection of circle - using Fancy Pants papers - part of the CCW May kit

The metal fish was a purchase from Hobbycraft

all the circles were punched out using a variety of circle punches

as for the furbabies - they have been enjoying the outdoors - using the catflap - which they still haven't got the hang of yet! Sandi was asleep on the BBQ.

Dara was enjoying the sunshine with out being pestered by Sam!!

Please don't forget to pop over to Julia's blog and take a look at everyone's desk!

WOYWW - August 17th

No photo of my desk - but here is the LO I have just completed - UKS Weekly challenge - week 3 - use black, a photo of celebration and use a freebie. The celebration was Goodwood Festival of Speed - Pete went with a friend who 'won' tickets - they had a fab day and this is the start of a DLO - as the otherside will have lots of smaller photos on it!

The freebie - is the tyre tread - I have inked it then imprinted the tread on the page - I think these were from an old Wall-e toy that Jack had - a freebie in a McD kids meal - years ago and I kept the little treads off the tyres - I knew I would use them eventually!!!!
As for the boys tonight - Sandi is asleep on the shoe basket.

and Dara is taking it easy on the floor!!

Thanks for looking and don't forget to pop over to Julia's blog to check out everyones desk this week!!

WOYWW - August 10th

I thought I would take a quick photo before adding a few more bits to my LO before I went to bed, I had 2 fur monsters who decided enough was enough and it was bedtime! It started off with a playing with the pencil,

and ended up with sitting on my LO (of them I may add!), so I gave up and put it away and went to bed!!! The LO they are sitting on is the beginning of one of my Basic Grey Page of the Month LO's that I get from Katie @ Cre8tive.
I did manage to complete one LO before the boys decided it was time for bed - UKS weekly challenge - August week 2 - Follow the sketch, use stars, 'H' in the title and use groups of photos or photos of a group. I have use Echo park - Little Boy papers, and Purple Pumpkin buttons.

Thanks for looking and don't forget to pop over to Julia's blog and check out - WOYWW!!

Another easel card

I am really enjoying making easel cards - so if your Birthday is in August and you are expecting a card from me - chances are it will be an easel card!!! This is a card I made for my sister - but I didn't want to post it on my blog until she had received it!! No pressure, but making a card for a sister, who in my opinion is the most fabby card maker in the world is no mean feat!!! Just go and take a look at her awesome blog! So I hope she likes this one!

I have used some Tim Holtz embellishments (I know she likes these!!)
and a few flowers!

3 different types of SU punches used.

SU scallop circle sizzix die and MME papers, image is a Gorjuss Girl coloured in with Prisma pencils.

Thanks for looking!

WOYWW - August 3rd

Sorry no photo of my desk as its non-functional at the moment - but here is a photo of the last LO that I completed on it! A photo of my beautiful furbabies fast asleep!

I have used Websters Pages - Lullaby Lane and Dusty attic chipboard vine that has been coloured with TH Distress stain.
the clock image is SU and the metal embellishment came from Hobbycraft.

the butterflies are Prima.

Today as we are in the middle of a rather warm spell they have been in the garden. This is the only planter that I did not fill this summer - but it is a perfect place to fit two kittens!!

I would also like to wish my little sis a 'Happy Birthday' today - pop over to her blog and see her wonderful cards - they are fantastic!!!

Baby Congrats Card

A little round easel card for the birth of my new niece. I have used a SU sizzix bigshot scalloped circle die to make the card.

The image is a Sugar Nellie digi image, Martha Stewart butterfly punch.
Flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and the leave punch is also MS, flowers have been stickled

Sentiments are both Stampin Up and the butterflies are also a SU cut and emboss die - Beautiful wings.

Ribbon is from my stash and the embossing folder - is Cuttlebug. Here you can see the inside of the card and how it is standing up.

Thanks for looking - I have also realised that this can be entered in to the CCW card challenge - so go over to CCW and give the challenge a go - "Anything but Birthdays!"
