Cat scrapbook

Hello fellow bloggers!!! Sorry its been a while but the usual hetic time of year just gets in the way of crafting and blogging!!  This post is a bit photo heavy - but I wanted to show you an album I put together for Janet and Neil who were the breeders of Sandi and Dara.  When we first met Janet and Neil I talked about scrapbooking and showed her my little album of my cats.  When we collected Sandi and Dara she gave us a little photo album of the first photos taken when they were born.  I just knew I would have to make her a very special Christmas present from Sandi and Dara.  I have journalled throught the album as if it was the cats journalling!!  Below is a handful of LO's of the 52 that are in the 8 x 8 album.

Now I just need to get on and make my own album of the furbabies!!!!
However now I have finished this and it has been posted, I am going to get on a catch up with my December Daily album!!  Pictures to follow soon!!
Thanks for looking

CCW December Kit

This months kits from Creative Craft World features Bo-Bunny Father Christmas range - it is lovely and I was so please when Lou gave me the kit to have a play with - I managed to complete four LO's and four Christmas cards as you can see by the photos below.  The LO's were completed first and I made the cards from all the left overs!

The combo sticker sheet that comes with the kit is fab and I used 3D foam pads to give the page some depth.

I used an additional alphabet that was left over from the October kit, and a Tim Holtz stamp on the LO below

This LO I used in addition to the kit, Autumn leaves stamps and perfect pearls - and the reason he was safe in Santa's arms was because Santa was Grandad!!! ;-)

I outlined the alphabet on this LO with a white inkessentials pen

Thanks for looking and don't forget to pop over to the shop and grab a kit while you can - they sell out fast!!!!

Basic Grey Page of the Month Kits

Many of my blog followers know that I have had the Basic Grey Page-of-the-month kit for 3 years - and this being the 3rd year has almost come to the end, I am hoping that BG continue these kits as I have loved them.
The LO below is the November kit featuring Picadilly papers - I love these papers - very 'Cath Kidson'.
I especially loved the metal flowers.  Gorgeous pics of my furbabies!
December kit featuring Little Black Dress - this has probably been one of my favourite kits - I love black and white photos and they worked perfectly with this kit.  Photos of my boys when they met their new Cousin, Lucy.

I love the eclectic embellishments.
September kit featuring Indie Bloom.  Photos of Jenna and Andrew on their wedding day.
again more scrummy embellishments - felt flowers.
July kit featuring Out of Print paper collection - again more wedding photos, but photos of my gorgeous men in my life!
I did struggle with this kit - but I do love the yoyos embellishments

UKS Weekly Challenges

Hello!  The scrapping mojo is back!  This was helped by going to the Cre8tive crop yesterday and having some me time before the mania begins when December arrives.  It gave me the time to catch up on some UKS challenges.
November week 2 - challenge set was to scrap autumn photos/colours, a different shape photo, bugs or glitter and paint.  I have used my fab MCS October kit - featuring Crate papers - I just love these kits soooooo much, Pam fills them with so many goodies and I love all my Layouts I create with her kits.
I have used a photo of Sam taking at Slindon Pumpkin farm, I added paint and glitter to my LO at the bottom of the photo.
November week 3 - Greeting in title, use oldest stash, stamp with a household item.
Photos of Sam polishing the car, he loved looking at his reflection in the black bodywork
My oldest stash I used was some TH grunge board flowers that have been in my stash for years and I painted them black, I also stamped using some bubble wrap.  Again I have used a MCS September kit.
November week 1 - Round page, Unusual subject, use colours Red/hot pink or Purple, use fabric /felt/or lace. I took photos of my halloween candles.
fabric/felt embellishments are from Purple Pumpkin
Thanks for looking and come back soon to see some more - next post will show my Basic Grey POTM kits.
