Dream of you

Some of you know that a couple of weeks ago I had to have my wonderful furbaby put to sleep - he was very poorly and was in end stage kidney failure. However Oliver was almost 16 years old, so he had a good life! Below is a LO I did of him, the photo was taken when he was a kitten.
I really enjoyed doing this LO - it all came together really well - especially as I don't normally scrapbook using orange! I have used a peach colour bazzill and painted it using orange paint and then stamped over the paint with my Magnolia wall stamp. The PP I have used are American Crafts, so is the ribbon (both from the Blue Skies collection) and black thickers (Nutmeg chipboard glossy thickers). Collections are available at Sarah's cards.
The fabric 'Dream' letters are Prima (also from Sarah's cards), Prima black swirl, Prima flower and the brads are from a selection of Sparkle burst brads by Karen Foster, and Papermania.

The metal frame is from Stampin Up's hardware collection.
RIP my Little man - we will miss you lots! xxxx
Thanks for looking everyone

Happy Birthday Mum!!

A birthday card for my Mum using one of my rare hAnglar and stAnglar stamped images as I don't actually own any of these stamps as they are not sold in the UK and will not ship to the UK :-( I have coloured the image in using my Prisma Pencils and blended using Sansador and paper stumps.
The PP are DCWV Citrus pack, sentiment is from Craftwork cards.
The flowers are Prima and the brad is a Karen Foster Sparkle Burst Brad.

Thanks as always for looking

Journal Your Christmas

Here it is!! My completed Journal Your Christmas!! This is the 2nd year I have followed Shimelle's prompts (I also did some creative changes ;-) because I didn't want the same pages as last years journal!!)
Above photo is of my front cover and the little reindeer/moose is a metal tree decoration I found in my local florist shop - it was just crying out to be part of my journal!! I cannot tell you where all the PP are from as I have been collecting them for months, there is a mixture of MME, Bo Bunny, Basic Grey to name a few! Most of the alphas are American Crafts Thickers, with some glitter alphas from MM and Dovecraft. The numbers and many of the journalling boxes are from Elle's studio, the snowflakes are punched out using my Martha Stewart snowflake punch.
Manifesto and Day 1
Day 2 and 3
Day 2 (close-up) showing the page without the snowflake acetate page and you can see my snowflakes - these are wooden ones that have been painted and glittered!

Snow at Night

Another snow LO - well we have so much of it!!
Photo of Jack (again) and my Nephew Daniel playing in the snow. It started to snow here in the village at about 6pm on Tuesday 5th January - Jack was already in his PJ's but quickly got dressed and was out playing for a couple of hours, building a snowman and having snowball fights - they had such fun!
One of my new purchases for 2009 was Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists - I so need more of them - I need more colours (I only have white, silver and blue!). Along with the glimmer mists I bought the snowfake masks and I used these on some of my Christmas cards. This sheet of black bazzill was an experiment to see how the white glimmer mist would look and I loved the effect - you cannot see in the photo but this page is very glittery!!! - I have been saving this piece if cardstock for the right photos!
I set you all a challenge!! - Use some of your old stash! I dug deep into my stash and found some old snow papers and embellishments I had bought years ago! Old Heidi Grace papers, Doodlebug Jellishments (remember those!!) and some Karen Foster fabric labels. The snowflakes are Creative Memories lazer cut stickers, and an old snowman rub-on (can't tell you where from it was in the bottom of the bag!) The title is Making Memories glitter alphabet.

As always - thanks for looking - go and use some old stash!!

First LO of 2010 - Snow Day!!

Seeing as we have lots of snow - I thought I better do a LO! I have scrapped lifted the idea from a digital LO on UKS - the original can be found here

The photos are taken of Jack playing in the snow - when it started on the evening of Tuesday 5th January at approx 6pm - and it fell fast!!

I have used lots of different products on this LO - and I have listed them below - the above photo is showing a close up of the stamps used, below the photo shows the American Crafts Thickers

One of my favourite dies - QK snowflake - its still one of the best snowflakes around!
I have used the following products; Stampin Up! kraft cardstock, stamped with Elzybells let it snow stamp, and snowflake using Stampin Up Craft stampin pad. Snowflake swirl stamps are Inkadinkado using black Stazon ink. American Craft Thickers - White are foam - Rootbeer Float and the blue are glitter - Lax. Flowers are from the new January Winter Wonderland kit from Craft Boutique.
QK snowflake die and Martha Stewart snowflake punch - Bazzill bling cardstock. Papermania pearl brads, adhesive pearls from stash, Making Memories Tiny Alpha - date.
I think that's all - I love this LO - I have to say its one of my favourites - however I just love to do snow LO's - they are such fun!
