Meet The Marines!

Yesterday we went to Southsea to 'Meet the Marines' - it was a wonderful Sunny day and Jack loved it - esp the dressing up!
My Mini Marine! (Is this my future Jack?)
A few of the Marines going down the Death slide.

Some of the Royal Marine Display team.

I thought I better post some pics as I've been so busy over half-term no crafting has been done but I am sure there will be some LO's soon of my Mini Marine (watch this space!)!!

Pencil Lines No 133

I've not used Pencil Lines for a couple of months so here is their lastest sketch number 133
I have set this challenge for a couple of friends to complete (hopefully they will let me take a photo next week and I can show you what they did!). The LO below is a photo of Jack and Sam ready for a party, new shirts, new haircuts - so of course Mummy had to have a photo! I did get a good one eventually!
Papers are all Basic Grey (Two Scoops and Perhaps), Rub-ons Heidi Grace, American Craft Fabric Thickers, Prima Flower, Heart and button from stash.

I liked the sketch so much (and these photos happened to be printed!), I did another LO!
Swing - Jack at the Park, Feb 09. American Craft thickers, Kaisercraft papers, Prima flower, Dew drops, papermania metal embellishment.

In no particular order I have been playing catch up with 'Scrap Like You Mean It!' this week!
Week 18 - Scrap a photo taken outside

This is a photo of Sam taken at the IOW in April. Its a very plain LO as I felt the PP was perfect and really didn't need anymore on it. PP is Kaisercraft and the title is 'Picture' Cricut alphalicious and QK revolution cookie cutter alpha - Magnolia 'Perfect' using Bazzill cardstock.
Week 15 - Edgeing - using my new Martha Stewart Lace Boarder punch!

Photos of Jack and my neices Amelia and Hiolette at a recent family photoshoot in their High School Musical Kits! Used Bazzill embossed cardstock, Doodlebug Just my Type alpha stickers.

Week 17 - Scrap with Lace and Layers

Used layers! Photo of my nephew Caleb (same photo shoot as above). Again using Kaisercraft PP's and American Craft thickers - Rainboots - I love these new thickers - I have to say they are my favourite at the moment!
Week 16 - Scrap in the Morning!

Same photoshoot, same papers and the AC thickers - this is my family!
from left to right -
David (BIL - with Caleb on his back), Rebekah (sister) Hiolette, Amelia Mum, Me (with Sam) and Pete (with Jack)

Basic Grey Kit Of The Month April

Basic Grey Page-of-the-month April, using Basic Grey Porcelain paper collection.
"the things i do" by Nic Howard is above and my LO "i miss my sister lots"
This LO is of me and my sister - a recent photo taken last month and a photo taken when we were children. The journalling is about how I miss her lots as she lives up in Chester and I rarely get to see her and her family, I wished she lived closer.
